Because, supposedly, there's a huge amount of money to be potentially made due to gambling in that part of the world.

during summer time ( 7.05pm kick off) with school & work the following day would be very stupid & the NRL won't don't that ..

They really need to move SL kick off to March! Feb is a bludger of a month to watch sport in.

Move SL kickoff to March, try to get SL grand final on same weekend as NRL Grand Final.. and maybe.. just maybe have the World Club Challenge the week after that?

the zero tackle one had that game on the Thursday night kicking the year off

TBH Sunday would be ok , but ..... Ch 9 will want it for the ratings Id think , plus thats a 3pm kick off in early March , could be potentially horrendous with heat
