Loiero got off easy for the turbo hit and once again the most dangerous tackle was completely missed with the cannonball on Munster

Payne's was an accident but it resulted in a terrible injury so I can live with that charge. Take the plea and come out and f**k Manly up.

Mam lost his footing while desperately trying to make a tackle - it seems he was just meant to hold on and be carried to the line while Doorey scores. Whatever.

I'd ask for consistency but that would be stupid.

I'm convinced it isn't even really about hip drops specifically at this point. It's exactly like every other "crackdown" we've seen in the last few years: it's the NRL and the coaches playing chicken over who really controls the way the game is played.

Mams was the sort of tackle we want out of the game puts the tackled player in an ugly position. Can’t even see how the Hopgood tackle gets a low grade it was just him sliding down the players leg. Still the TMM broken leg was the worst example but completely missed, it will be a lucky dip for tackles of this type for the rest of the season
