Seems like it
Refs once again ruining the contest
Not saying it cost us the game, we played shit in the first half
But the sin binning happened at 26-12 and there some resemblance of a contest there.
Well that and Josh Reynolds coming on and giving away 2 penalties in 2 mins.

Another Burgii squirrel-gripper.
He grabs Reynolds clear as dog's balls (as it were). Based on the video and JR's complaint I'm surprised he wasn't charged.

The tackle that broke TMM leg is going to be an interesting one. Reminiscent of the NFL ‘horse collar’ tackle where the tackler holds the upper body of the player from behind and then throws their weight on the tackled players lower body to fold them back. By far the most dangerous tackle in the hip drop family we have seen this season.

Radley ($3000), Nikorima ($750) and Lee ($1500) all entered early pleas.

Happened to a Warriors player, so no charge. Meanwhile Marata Niukore got a couple of weeks for basically pulling a guy down from behind as he was being dragged forward in a completely harmless action? Bitter? Damn right we are.

Problem is. They still haven't defined a hip drop tackle yet. Depends who is ref really

I can get the ref penalising it, he has to make the judgement in real time. But he match review committee basically just covering for the refs decision with their charges shits me.

99.9% it is the bunker on review calling it up. For me it should be like the cannon ball, 2nd or 3rd player in can only be called.

In Niukore's case, He is only thinking about putting down a huge human. He isn't going 'where can I get him to hurt him'

Atm the game is jumping at shadows with this sort of stuff

Anyone got a full clip of the TMM injury? Or a time stamp? The short slow mo one NRL Physio posted isnt enough to work out what happened.

I get that Molo has priors, but his tackle barely even warranted a penalty, much less a base charge of 2 weeks.

Meanwhile Ezra Mann jumps up and hits a bloke in the face with his shoulder and it’s penalty sufficient.

Honestly, the MRC has always been inconsistent but they’re worse than ever this year.

More clubs really need to start fighting charges and hold the MRC accountable
But the MRC is deliberately making sure that if you fight you lose. And lose big time.
Does anyone seriously think Hughes hit on Tanah Boyd (for example) was worth a week? Never mind 2? Or all these cases where a guilty plea is $3K, but fight and lose is 2 weeks.
