Ipswich Jets CC side will need to work on their goalkicking at training during the week.
Goalkicking again proving the difference for Ipswich in their Cyril Connell clash against the Clydesdales this afternoon. It was 4 tries a piece however the Jets converted 0/4 (Tyson Walker 0/2, Leroy Charles 0/1, Dennis Papua 0/1).

Hopefully the QRL can assist the Northern Pride & Wide Bay Bulls further so that their HNW U19 Women's sides are more competitive/resilient in 2024.

Hearing rumours that the Mal Meninga Cup will be changed to U19s next year. Anyone heard this too? Or have I been lied to?

That concludes the regular season for the Mal Meninga Cup U18s.

Semi Final match ups will be:
Townsville (1) vs Ipswich (4)
Redcliffe (2) vs Wynnum (3)

Still unsure where these matches will be played but looking forward to 2 cracking games.

It bodes well for the rest of the season. The Magpies really struggled after a horrific start and he was guilty of over-playing his hand and missing his defensive assignments.

Israel strikes me as a good athlete who will shine with strong leaders around him. I don't think he has those leadership qualities in his game yet which is why he struggled this year at MM Cup. I would not be shocked to see him handle QCup better than MM.
