rubbish..so where exactly does it say you have to have both feet on the ground when trying to strip the ball..
It doesn’t. But if you leave your feet such that all your weight comes down on the tackler’s legs, that’s 100% on you.

Disagree. I think some of the hip drop tackles are nonsense but this one he swung his weight in, it wasn't intentional but it was ugly.

But a hip drop involves wrapping up and then dropping on the defender to essentially rip them down to the ground straight away, putting deliberate pressure on their legs.

This was blatantly not that, he wasn't even near the blokes legs and if he hadn't landed on the dudes ankle no one would have seen it.
