Most teams prepare extra well when thy play a side that is twice premiers in a row. That it why it is so hard to defend a single premiership, and even harder for a third title because EVERY week you cop the same intensity.

Coupled that with the absolute gun talent we have lost along the way, it's not surprising we are coming a very lowly third on the ladder.
