But as ive said here before,welcome to the new tigers mark 2, with taafe ,who was being groomed for years as a half and our only viable backup,gone, and 5 players gone with no recruits on the horizon,and the likelyhood of keon going and others asking for releases, we are in bad shape and its just starting,It looks to me JD is out of his depth.

But I gotta pick you up on a couple of things here:
1. How was "Taafe being groomed for years as a half" when he never played a single minute as a half, even when the Coach and front office had opportunities to put him there, with SOO and other injuries?
2. Why is it "likely" that Keaon is "going"?

Taafe was always hier apparent for cody,he was an under 19s rep player, all he played in lower grades until recently was 6 or 7.
Keon ive heard is playing hard to get, asking for a heap more than we are offering,this is conjecture on my part, yes, but as it goes on im just not confident,is this 1 reason his form has nosedived?

Spoke to an unnamed footy person tonight, asked what teams he thinks for GF, broncs v panthers , but he said the only other team that can beat them is south’s. I had a giggle.

The son of rugby league Immortal Clive Churchill, has called out South Sydney for pampering Latrell Mitchell, telling The Sydney Morning Herald, the star player is "lazy" and "the catalyst" for the club's "implosion."

Mitchell has come under fire as the Rabbitohs face the real prospect of missing the finals amid the drama that has engulfed the club which led to Rabbitohs legend Sam Burgess walking out due to reported preferential treatment given to Mitchell and Cody Walker.

"I don't think he has delivered as a fullback at all," Rodney Churchill said. "Souths have not won a competition in his time, and they've had the team to do it. In my view, he has not put in 100 per cent effort.

"The way he has been treated has had a negative effect on the whole club. In my view, Mitchell has been the catalyst for this whole implosion. The whole situation has backfired. Gus [Phil] Gould came out and said a few things about him [Mitchell] not delivering. He was proved right."

Churchill says the coach has got it wrong when it comes to Mitchell.

"He is the world's best centre and is totally out of position as fullback," he said. "The coach has got it wrong. He [Mitchell] is too lazy and doesn't have the physique to be a fullback."

They are all fair observations by Rod Churchill.

It is a lot quieter in here at the moment and I have been checking in a lot less to try and maintain my health and sanity.

There in no good news about us and my fear is that once our season is done and dusted we could see some real mud slinging and this is just an entree.

It is very clear that something has not been right for the last 10-12 weeks which a lot on here suggested and now it is all being revealed….

What about Parra? They just beat Penrith. Seems like the footy person doesn’t know that much.

If Warea-Hargraves doesn't get suspended for what he just did, that'll be the 100% proof the NRL is corrupt and rigged.
Tom gets 3 weeks for a chest-to-chest tackle?

He is a protected species,just watch if mr katoni gets what he deserves, im begining to think there is manipulation going on in the nrl,they know who they want to play finals,they make sure its them, this 6 again rule is a manipulation, not once have we come out even

Can't believe what I just read from one of our own. Those are disgusting comments from Churchill. By all means, criticise Trell as we all have, but to call him a cancer is just so uncalled for and disgusting.

Apparently latrells been given ghe week off,hes not in a good head space,his manager has rung the nrl about all the abuse.
Weve all been fuming and upsett at our demise,and while sam may be right about the lax training , as an assistant he should have gone to pappas or resigned, quietly.
Weve said our piece ,i think we should now band together and support the club and coach and players.
JD is signed for 3 years,there is no hope in hell he gets sacked so talking about it and slater is just disruptive shit,lets all STOP!!
