Mounties and Brothers RMC went into todays game with 1 win out 4 with both beating the Silktails. They traded tries with Mounties ahead 12-10 at halftime after the Brothers first conversion attempt hit the upright and bounced out. Early in the second half Brothers equalled with a penalty goal and then Mounties responded in kind before a bullocking try by Mulitalo established the winning margin.
With so many Blacktown players in the Brothers RMC, the brethren appear to be rationing games to the remainder of the squad in SS, so this week was the good Brothers combination with 9 changes from the Wenty game. Several tries resulted from fine teamwork as they ran up a 38-10 margin.
After trailing 16-0 to St Marys at half time in RMC, Ryde Eastwood posted 2 tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half but the final 30 minutes was scoreless. The Hawks led shortly after half time in SS but ended behind 28-26 to a St Marys side boosted by the inclusion of RMC co captain, Zac Greene, following the completion of the suspension applied from the first week of last year's finals.
Canterbury Bankstown have been consistent with results of 10-40, 10-44, 10-48 and 12-52 to Glebe tonight. Glebe and St Marys are setting the standard, both with 4 wins from 4 starts
