Another thing that makes me feel like the universe has turned is we met Justin Hodges at a function last night and is one nicest blokes in a world.

I grew up hating him with his grubbiness on the field but I can't look at him the same now after what a legend he was towards us spoke to us brought us a beer from the bar and genuine down to earth bloke who was so just awesome.

Do Storm play this week as Munster rocked up at the casino at 3am. Alfie Langer and Nate Myles were in there as well.

Munster was taking selfies with fans and looked like he was ready to kick on to sunrise. I had enough by then but when i left but Alfie still had his kit on at that stage his chin barely reached the bar he is that small.

Forget all that, we all want to know did you have a win at the casino???

Waqa will just sit there and give you a dumb look

I’ve seen Sivo with that look quite a few times

If NSW get beat in game 2, which is a massive chance of happening, Dopey needs to blood some new players for game 3 so the new coach will have something to work with next year.
Bring in Hasler for next year, he was a good player at Origin level.

Bring in Hasler for next year, he was good a Origin level as a player.

Hassler would bring back the passion...
Brandy and Freddy are too nice

I actually completely agree that Hasler would make a better Origin coach than our current clown.
Hasler is a hard tough bastard. Fittler is soft and a wannabe comedian.

We picked to many guys who are out of form or passed it. QLD probably had their best side.

JAC offers stuff all go forward. Turbo is a shell of himself and Teddys cooked. Latrell,RCG,Matterson all get picked if not injured. Lane may of also before Frizzel.
Luai is not origin level.

From what I saw Martin and To'o where our best.

Twice we butchered tries when Frizzel and Teddy didnt pass. It was hardly a blow out. Another day and we win.

The problem is Qld have many leaders in their team - have done for ymany years Guys who will take the game and others will follow. NSW has good players that work in a system. Origin is about having these players more than the coach.

DCE & Munster took over that game and won it for them. Carrigan is another, tho its hard to be a forward leader cos you are getting bashed constantly in a fast game, but Carrigan still manages. Even Cotter exudes more lead from the front, come with me type of attitude than NSW forwards.

I agree Freddy has had enough time. Gotta move on. Des might be aa good option ... howeverr they will need to break this media (ie Nine) control of origin if they go with Des, cos i dont know if he is into this stupid all access crap they are pushing.

Haha well I might have to do a Ben Creagh and walk backwards from a few beers then.

I was already talking rubbish sitting on the plane across from a former origin great that finished his career at the Roosters now in the media and also a polarising commentator for channel 9 that were in the aisle across from me on the plane.

Anyone want to take a guess who these two were.

Great fella to talk too though was the former origin great who always played the game in the right way. Didn't picture him as a crossword man either.
Former Origin great from Roosters? James Tedesco?
