Moses to be selected for Game 2 and a NSW win.
Moses absence along with Dylbro will be catastrophic for our Eels.
Our recruitment/development of backs has been diabolical these past few years.

Most frustrating thing is Gazza in the space of 24 hours last sunday 2 separate things could have killed our season with nothing to do with Parra on the field.

Dylan's stupidity of deciding to go out and Cleary's hamstring.

This little period was supposed to be where we bank some wins and momentum with a softish draw.

Dogs, Manly without Origin players and Dolphins between the 2 byes was a great period to get 10 points on the back of 2 wins leading into the first bye.

Manly next week we would have pencilled in for a win since the draw come out with no Turbo or DCE. And barring injury we would have our full spine on deck.

We can still pinch a win next week but it's tougher now with the probability of no halves.

Now we will depleted and battling to win 2 crucial home games which could be difference come finals time.

We could have coped with losing Moses for 2 games if Dylan had just stayed home and was available.

Spot on KG. Our D was improving and even allowing for a poor start and having to play Hodgson we looked a decent chance to progress.
Look at our back ups though.
Penrith had the Fins 7, Sullivan and then picked up Cogger even allowing for the fact they had the SOO halfs and having won everything last year in the lower grades with Falls etc playing well. Now they are chasing Sanders ffs!
We throw everything in the JA basket then let him leave mid season. Yeah we bought Asi but we played him at centre or fullback until JA was allowed to leave.
Maybe we valued players like Sam and Waqa too much.

So it's my fault we lose 😂 Not Mitchell Pearce MK2

Pumpkin indeed (I am assuming your a Panfers fan?)
You're the kind of person that if australia was invaded, you wouldn't care, as long as parramatta was alright. Church St in parramatta.

They really care about you judging by that trash they served up in the GF. Like they weren't even trying.

You seem like more of a turnip than a pumpkin….
Don't worry mate, parramatta''s ok ( don't worry about the rest of NSW). We won't pick Moses in case he breaks a fingernail in origin and can't play for the mighty eels ( who haven't won a title since the 80s)

So Moses is shit and NSW will lose with him but when an Eels fan doesn't want him picked....

You are a wired dude. Probably should proof read your posts?

Moses is a good player but I get the sense he has a big ego, and it's as much about him as the team. That takes time for other players to get used to, and there isn't the time in an origin prep.

It makes him a good club player but not suitable for origin.

I think some Eels fans here are being quite selfish, but I can understand why.
It is a players dream to play at the highest level of their chosen sport. Moses deserves that if he is selected.
It's stupid selfishness. Playing origin is a massive boost to the club team. It will never be a hindrance.

The best scenario is we get a few players picked - they play well and bring that confidence back to club footy
However history would suggest the opposite is more likely and so yes you’re right we’re being selfish
I think this season is a factor - we’ve lost so many games we could/should have won and find ourselves in a position where the next few weeks are make or break.
Unlike some on here I genuinely think we’re a chance this year but we need to clock up the wins these next few weeks and hope we get better luck with injuries
