The herald must have thrown the keys to the work experience kid over the Xmas period looking at the predicted lineup.

Will Pryce come and be an automatic starter? I was thinking he would come here and take over the Mann role for a year to settle in first. Play 14 and cover for injuries for a season?

We don't have that luxury mate. I'm sure we're paying him a decent penny to come and be an important piece right away.

don’t need to pay massive coin for poms any more. The ESL salary cap is like 1/3 ours.

I don’t think Pryce has been promised anything.

by all reports it’s Ponga pushing the move to 6.

Toohey still confident we get Miller.

Yeah but we weren't the only club keen on him, right?

So what do we think Pryce is coming as next year? a hopeful 5/8th or fullback?

I'm personally very keen to see Miller come play in the 1. Dom, Miller and the new winger lad will be excellent at bring the bringing the ball back from kicks.

The wingers are going to tear it up if we can improve our PTB speed markedly in the off season. We have no excuses for struggling out of our own half now with two powerful wingers who are excellent ball carriers and tackle breakers.

KPP was pretty highly recruited but Pryce not as much. And at any rate no one is bidding superstar money for young poms. Maybe next contract.

he is coming here to play NRL. Could be in 1, 6, 3 or 14. Could be NSW cup. Has to earn a spot.

I think some of you are forgetting the lack of quality in our squad. Pryce will walk into a position based purely on his potential and to get a head start on building some combinations.

Happy for someone to bookmark this and we can re-visit in March 2024! :D

I think you are forgetting about O’Brien’s penchant for selecting mediocrity.

I’m onside with your beliefs, not his.

They got that from a Sydney Morning Herald article. Not surprising in the least if it's true but I'd imagine we aren't paying full freight for Hastings either.

So dumb if true. He and Hastings should have offset each other. Neither wanted by their clubs.

Be very interesting to see how Klemmer goes in a Tigers side which is apparently having a massive focus on attacking footy. Will be a good indication of whether his drawbacks are down to coaching/game plans or him as a player not suited to the modern game.

He’ll kill it. They’ll want him to offload and the coaching staff will make it happen.

Agreed unless O’Brien turns the spuds to gold this season.
