I don't understand what all the fuss is about.
It's not like he bit someone, chased someone on a roof holding a hammer, had a BBQ, went out for coffee, charged his phone at a woman's house who he just met at a nightclub while his pregnant wife is at home or touched a woman's bottom when presenting a jersey.

I'm no fan of Walsh, but the backlash to the painted nails is so f**king dumb. I'd be more worried if he didn't let his daughter paint his nails. Peak toxic masculinity and fragility.

Painting each others nails is great bonding time, and the fact that he's happy to leave the house and be in the spotlight with her handy work on display is a beautiful exhibition of his love for his daughter.

My daughter paints my nails all the time. The buzz she gets when someone notices my nails and she say's "I did that" or "they match mine" is priceless.

If we're gonna start tearing people down for putting "style" above performance, can we please start with every NRLW player that runs out with ribbons in their hair matching their team colours?

My girls painted my nails on the weekend.
They are still painted. Gold and pink. My balls have not yet fallen off.

I have also spend a day walking around with their sparkly hair clips in my hair. They still talk about it. I'll do anything to make them smile.

The jails are already overcrowded. Half the NRL supporter base would be in jail.
no they are not we are not the USA or Central America. Inherently there are two many people in jail, as no one should be doing things that put them there. But 3 weeks of embarrassment and remorse (that its debatable whether its affected him at all) is not sufficient punishment for someone endangering peoples lives.
Dealing with personal issues my ass, more like I can't deal with having to be responsible for my actions ...

I'll say this much.

The NRL was all too keen to make a big song-and-dance, putting out a media release, in announcing Latrell's punishment for the photo of him in a hotel.

It's been crickets for Addo-Carr (no announced punishment). Will watch how this one plays out.
Agree, but the problem is that it is the media driving this. People posting online has no ramifications on anything. The media decides who is good and who is bad. Who should be punished terribly and who should not. What LM did ws not great, but its nothing compared to the "fox" and Mamm's was even worse

.

Apparently being a f**kwit has now been reclassified as "dealing with personal issues".

Every f**kwit in the entertainment industry is "dealing with personal issues".

Now it has come to the nrl.

Who pays for their medical bills, or the Uber drivers car? Surely with the KIA deal, this driver should have a new car by now paid by Ezra/Broncos

It’s always an interesting discussion around off field behaviour and how it should be managed by clubs and the NRL.
Off field bad behaviour is nothing new. It’s been around since Messenger’s day. But we now live in a world where ‘image’ has to be managed more than ever, I dunno, probably because it affects the dollars.
