Yeah, this is ridiculous. 8 weeks for Spencer, should equal 24 for Mam.

A lesser profile player would be sacked by now. He should be suspended for the year, without pay. He can get some labouring work to pay medical bills and replacement car.

Also agree with this. The Dogs just marched JAC for less, because it suited them to. But it doesn't suit the NRL or the Broncos to give Mam a bigger skate.

I know in the EPL, players direct relatives cannot bet on any football matches on the planet unless the relatives can prove they are no longer associated with the player. If that rule carries over to the NRL, he is in deep shit no matter if its his or his mums account.

None. Only rumours have been ones pushed on Facebook groups which May's lawyers have issued "cease and desist" orders to, which, if ignored, opens the door to legal action for defamation proceedings.
