Yeah The NRL should have released that link to freebies like they did for last year's accor prelim yesterday. It's almost like they wanted the shithouse headlines that we'll see after this

I guess they are saving for if it is a Panthers/NQ Prelim.

Yeah nothing has been done to attract Neutrals or even those who are 50/50 to dropping a couple of $ Hundred on going or just going to the pub

I wouldn't take tomorrow in isolation.

You will have members at the AFL
There is nothing on before the game

Anyone who lives in Sydney knows the shit fight Friday traffic is. This should of been Sunday - Warriors games last year showed there is flexibilty - So any Neutral will choose Sat to attend

The club moved games for 2 years, They would of done their research before the move
if there are more than the 11,000 regulars that go to Shark park that want to watch the sharks play and they have been missing out due to that grounds limited capacity then you would think that they would have tickets to this game

Sharks v Cows was never hitting 25k, 18-19k would be a solid outcome anything 16k and below is completely unacceptable.

nearly some much demand for people to fly down to watch the game that the actual team almost missed out

Penrith, Manly, Sharks... probably throw Roosters in there are good for 15k in these situations.

I am talking Friday night, finish work in time and so on.

To get 25k v an out of state team.

You'd need it to be a Sat or Sunday game. Need Stadium members to turn up and throw in Dogs or someone playing in a curtain raiser

Prices are ridiculous. I’ve never been to magic round before I’m coming up next year for the first time so is Callmack who mods the Souths forum on here he’s coming from NZ I can’t wait we will be together in the Burrow for Souths game and together for most other games.

Like accomodation up there is 4 x the normal price for magic round lucky it’s only a one off treat for me like it’s been on my bucket list. By the time I book return airfares from Sydney at a highway robbery price, 3/4 nights accomodation in Brisbane, tickets, food, drinks and shit it’s gonna cost a fortune. Luckily I’ve been saving the last 4 years or so to go.

when Souths play interstate in a finals game I very rarely go just don’t have spare cash with how expensive cost of living is.

Cronulla's biggest home crowd this season was 13,500 apparently. They should get more to this game
This year Shark Park sold out most games at 13,500 capacity. Last time we played the Cowboys at SFS was the 2016 prelim final when there was 37,500 attending, 36,500 pure Sharks fans.

Given there is a fair portion of the Swans fan base are from the Shire and they knew they were playing this night weeks ago and its a prelim and favs, I'd suggest there will be a few in the SCG keeping an eye on both games as well. Also most of the fans are expecting another loss given the way the Sharks are going in finals, despite flogging the cowboys at Shark Park followed by a close loss to them in Townsville.

The high ticket prices they are charging for decent seats doesn't encourage fans to attend the game live either.

With respect that’s a list of excuses. $85 is the most expensive ticket and that isn’t bad. The fan base has chosen not to attend. The CEO kicked it off last weekend with his comments. We are going to cop a lot of criticism and deserve it.

Its actually $95, but that is the general feeling amongst the supporter base. There is not much enthusiasm at present given all the bashing. Despite that I'm still going but I know a lot who are just going to watch on TV and reassess for next week.

PAX doesn't really seem to line up with even the number of tickets they are giving out for the Youi promotion... or the fact they continue to open up more areas in the ground...

The ticket price is a huge one for someone who is 50/50 to going.

You can drop less at the pub and walk home.

Especially with zero on before the game.

You also looking at $50-100 more when you add food and drink.

Next week is Sat night so is much better for attending footy

You might get a few extra in the members for the Sharks game as for the AFL you had to pre book and pay $20 for a seat so the casual member who thinks they can turn up and jag a seat before the bounce can't.
For the NRL they are letting the club cards in for both games on top of the members Gold and Guest cards.
