I’m thinking of flying up to catch a game at the ground in a fortnight or so. Haven’t been to a game since covid. Have to break out from my voluntary agoraphobia. I hope they’ve improved the toilets. I piss regularly these days after a few beers lol

Shark park is on a reduced capacity because the property developer is years behind finishing the upgrade To Their leagues club which is part of the old Peter burns stand

it’s literally not their fault

I've been to both.
Leichhardt is a dinosaur. It's cute, but facilities are 1970's shocking.
Shark Park has slightly better facilities but tbh mate, both grounds are truly an embarrassment to the NRL.
This is not a criticism, it's just a matter of fact.

Im a RL fan who wants the best for the game and the NRL is currently kicking @rse and our best bet for expansion and generating new fans from all over the world and the competition deserves the best and the best doesn’t and shouldn’t include 13k capacity stadiums.

I’ve said similar. I was truly shocked by LO. It was terrible. There are bits of Shark Park that are pretty good and much better than LO. But we’ve got to do better. Were not going to sell it out every game in its current condition and to expect otherwise is pure ignorance.

I’ve not been able to find out myself. Other sharkies might know. I’ve been there with 22000. I can’t imagine that will be achievable again. Personally I reckon we need to pack a couple of games off to the SFS each year to boost the average. Have to be the right games though.
