Storm are letting kids go free in GA for Friday's match and planning a number of family friendly initiatives for the start of the school holidays.

Pre-sales have been positive though a long way behind their recent 20K+. I'd say 16-18K is the range for the game.
16-18k sold tickets or including the free kids tickets?

Fumble fans seem a lot keener than RL fans to watch from high vantage points.

Top deck seats at AAMI Park are mostly empty even when the crowd is 20k. Storm could use family pricing initiatives every game to try and fill those.

Casual Storm fans (most likely also AFL fans) will usually go GA at AAMI. This has sold out this season. Rather than using this to push fans into the more expensive seats, they should make the top deck (near the corners at least) GA as well as the ends to boost the crowd.

A lot of the so call "Casual" Storm fans are now getting a lot more serious about our great game of Rugby League.

They now follow the Melbourne Storm 50 50 with their AFL team of choice.

Plus everyone in Melbourne is totally behind the Storm so that is powerful and full of energy whereas you might be a richmond fan and your mate is an essendon fan so you cant really support them together.

This is the advantage the Storm have in a one team town obsessed by sport because the winters in Mexico are long and wet and cold and bleak.

So, Storm mania is taking over, in the coffee shops and at the canteens and water coolers at work, or more likely in the online meetings as everyone in Melbourne works from home because it is too bleak to go outside. At least, all those people who work for the Victorian State Government still work from home which just means more online time when they should be working for people to click on "What is happening at the Storm?".

They need content to change every 5 minutes online to keep up with the demand down at Storm headquarters.

The Broncos v Dolphins seats are going on the black market for $300-$500. There is Insane interest in the Battle of Brisbane. It is the biggest thing to happen in that city since Kepler Wessels made 162 on debut vrs England.

This is the greatest day in Brisbane history.

Usually at this time of year, most Brisbanites are down the Gold Coast or up on the Sunshine Coast on their boats at their second holday homes.

But this year they have stayed in Brisbane to give Rugby League the biggest boost it has had crowd wise for a long time

What a great time to be alive in Brisbane and to love Rugby League.

Hallelujah brother. In past years none of my mates or their kids have been interested, but things are changing. Six of us going this Friday. Will be another bumper crowd if the weather holds.

I noticed recently when you go to the Storm’s membership page it has the end bays of the top tier as GA, but ticketek sell them as bronze.

Agree with this. They don't even need to do it for all games, the Storm knows each year what games are the big ones (ie. ANZAC Day, Vs Warriors, Vs Broncos) and can make the top deck all reserved seats for those games, but for the likes of Friday's game, it would be great if they could look to reclassify some of the seats.

Personally, I wouldn't just change the corners to GA, I'd be tempted to re-classify the upper rows in some of the bays as well to a lower tier (make the back of Gold, Silver, etc)
