We are away to the Titans in R1 on the 9th March.
Tough ask no matter who we play.
Draw released on Monday.

Hi Jeff
Parko1310 has already given us the games for R1 in the Rumours -
According to the Herald, we will play Gold Coast away in round 1 next year.
Those are said to be all the round 1 fixtures. Our other pre-season matchup could be announced as early as Friday. Tigers with the bye in round 1, so I bet I can guess who's got the bye in Magic Round this year... despite giving us the bye in round 1 last year, I doubt that stops the NRL from giving us another "unlucky" bye in that regard next year.
- Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles (March 2 in Las Vegas)
- Broncos v Roosters (March 2 in Las Vegas)
- Knights v Raiders (Thursday, March 7)
- Warriors v Sharks (Friday, March 8)
- Storm v Panthers (Friday, March 8)
- Eels v Bulldogs (Saturday, March 9)
- Titans v Dragons (Saturday, March 9)
- Dolphins v Cowboys (Sunday, March 10)
- Bye: Wests Tigers
Update: We'll play Tigers in Mudgee week 2 of pre-season. Full NRL draw to be released on

Ita like Cheistmas Day for me as I wait for the draw to come out.All good, Jeff. This thread will be the one that will enable the full 2024 Draw to be posted. I only mentioned Parko1310's post because it had more info, that's all.
If they get even a somewhat more difficult draw they won't make finals. They've exhausted their cap, their pack isn't all that imposing, Hynes whilst a good player is yet to truly stand up and his confidence is now down. Talakai is a pretty poor centre. The only place the Sharks are threatening are on the wings and at hooker. You could make an argument for fullback, but Kennedy's form has been down and to be honest Tracey outperformed him last year. Hopefully we do get him because he'd be a great pick up. But yeah, I'm hoping for a more difficult draw for them because they'll get a huge reality check.Saints will surely feature in Magic round seeing it is played in Qld. Saints have more Qld supporters than any of the other clubs hence why I thought Knights missed out out in 2023.
Sharks will surely get the soft draw again. That will be 3 years in a row. Fitzy must be setting the draw. They usually play less of the top 8 sides and when they do it is during origin hence why the make finals but never win a game when they get to the finals. Didn't they sack poor John Morris because they did not think he can win them a final? If Sharks standards are that high then surely Fitzy should be nervous if they don't make a final or lose in straight sets again if they make a final.
Bring on 2024.
Agree. Plus if there is a ref crackdown for magic round at least we won’t get destroyed like usualNo magic round for the dragons. Not totally worried about this given recent record
It's total bs.First five fixtures according to Nine:
Also to play Sharks again in round 9 and Bulldogs round 12. I hate complaining too much about the draw but seriously? We start the season where we'll have to spend the first two weeks in qld. We return back home to play two Sydney teams, and then away to Newcastle, so we get no advantage of a team travelling to play us at all despite spending the first two rounds in another state. Could we not have at the very least played: canberra @ home or Newcastle @ home?
- St George Illawarra: Gold Coast (A), Dolphins (A), Cronulla (H), Manly (H), Newcastle (A)
It certainly won't be a "magic round" for me. They can all get stuffed. I won't bother watching the shit.I assume Magic Round will be a sellout so no advantage to the NRL of having the Dragon's playing to attract bums on seats.
They’re not wrong you knowTo me it seems like we are a basket case as far as the NRL are concerned - a black sheep of the NRL.
