Adam Gee dumped for the finals.

Not exactly dumped, just not better on form compared to the other 4 ref's... they've all been fairly consistent Todd Smith is getting better, and Klein is most probably the guy you want for the GF after the origin series, Sutton and Atkins are solid, having Gee on call is a good headache

It was a copy and paste job ha ha.
I'm all for going back to the days where refs made decisions and linesman used their eyes. Officials often send up try no try when the put down is 4 ft in front of their eyes.
Other times they award a try , then after a thousand replays they get audio in their ears to call time out then it goes up stairs for review. It really is getting like US Footy sometimes.

yeah the narrative is annoying that it was all the Tigers fault for Brooks not playing finals. He was a key reason for us not making finals so to absolve him of blame is BS.

Also he has hardly been a reason that Manly have made the finals. It is the Turbo and DCE show and he is just along for the ride.

I expect at least 1 kick out on the full or grubber into the back fence if DCE lets him have any kicks at all.

and Brooks has played basically excatly the same as he did at the Tigers. Has some good games, strong running game but comes up with momentum changing errors at least every second game.

The difference is that Manly have the capacity to defend most of his bone headed plays whereas we just conceded points every time.

In saying that I don't wish him ill, if he has a great game I would be happy for him. But I will laugh if he performs the exact same way he has for his whole career and then the Media and some Manly fans will act all shocked

I know it gets said every year, but it's a fairly weak competition this year (making our wooden spoon all the more pathetic and embarassing).

Storm are clearly the most consistent team, however I think a few teams can match them if they find their best footy. The problem is the rest of the top 4 seem a long way off their best.

I predict one of the bottom 4 will make a prelim. If I was to guess which one, I'm saying the Knights will beat Cowboys and Sharks to make it to the final 4.

So for the predictions will I put you down for the Storm to win GF
