If both our centres are likely out as being reported unfortunately there goes our very slight chance of winning. That would be too bigger hole to fill.

Would love to see Sharkies win but they would have to play some mad old school Warriors throw it around flick pass one on one steal early tackle 40/20 finger up the bum Hopoate style nathan cleary spear tackle in 3rd minute or Cam Smith chicken wing Yeo type rugba league.

Not sure they can do that.

The entire rugby league world is with Cronulla. Penrith as well as the other 2 remaining teams make a mockery of equalisation. We do not want one of those same 3 clubs winning the premiership again.

Cronulla to win as they know they are not just playing for themselves for the good of the game.

Any stat gurus out there that would know the teams who had the week off winning % ??

Surely it's around 95% ?

I can't remeber any team having the week off and losing the preliminary.

We beat Storm in 21. Parra got Cows in 2022 but I can't remember any other cases

Why should equalisation mean turning good clubs to shit? Why shouldn’t shit clubs be striving to get better?

The salary cap is distributing talent.

Praying Penrith get up for the sake of the grand final. Watching Melbourne and the Sharks would just be a repeat of that 2017 snorefest.

That is it.

If we count Burton as 18th man. There were 9 players in this years Origin series that won the 2021 Premiership.

Only 5 are still at Penrith, Anyone that can't see the cap at work doesn't have a brain.

Other teams paying overs for dud players is why they stay shit

Sharks will get 50 put on them by the Storm.. So the Panthers winning will be the best for the game

Currently yes.

Not including 2024 though, the percentage is 75% in the current finals system (winning with the week off).
Drops to 64% if you include the previous top 8 system.
