Naden should have got grade 10 stupidity

How anyone can say Olams is the same as Papallis who landed directly on the guys legs is laughable

Val’s charge seems harsh but probably done to save referee/bunker face. Wasn’t a hip drop, was a collision where his body was thrown into the Tigers players legs by another tackler.

How Klemmer stays on the field after copping a grading like that for a more obvious offence astounds me.

Saying this as a Sharks fan who enjoys watching both sides when playing well and hold no ill will against either side (lived in Cowboy country for many years and still remember how great the Cows vs Tigers games use to be back in the mid to late 00s) .

Holmes’ tackle was very similar to Josh Papalii’s one last week, which was given a grade 2.
The nauseating bleating in the media all night last night did the trick to get it down to a grade 1.

Yeah, you can’t tell me the NRL don’t treat some teams differently to others when it comes to this shit. It’s become farcical how we get charged compared to tackles that literally rule guys out for 6-8 weeks

Also, there is something fundamentally wrong when player A gets 10 in the bin and then gets grade 1 and a fine, player B stays on the field gets grade 2 and 3 weeks.

Klemmers was worse than Holmes and it got missed initially because there was no injury. Holmes one didn't deserve a bin, it was just ruled on outcome. Klemmers should have been a bin. Much more of a classic hip drop.

You know they have NFI what is and isn’t a bad hip drop. Penalties on the field are based solely on a player getting injured. Then the charges are a lucky dip. Massive farce.

Agreed.

Klemmer not even get getting penalised, smacks of clear favouritism

I’m talking purely on grading from the MRC

their own rules state they have to take injury into consideration. In what world is a tackle that doesn’t injure someone, more dangerous then one that rules a guy out for 6-8 weeks?

If Papalii’s was a grade 2, so was Val’s.

I don’t think either of them were a grade 2, but some consistency would be nice.

In origin selection week? Good luck.

It’s never consistent, but you can be sure to see bafflingly inconsistent decisions even more around Origin.

Tigers are such NRL darlings. How the f**k does Klemmer stay on the field last night?

He's got form that bloke too intentionally trying to injure players.
