Someone made an F up in not getting them on the commercial flight and it needs to be rectified.

It may not have been this. There are only so many flights for that route. Seats may have already been booked before NQ won their semi on Saturday.

Completely hear you, although surely there could have been some sort of contingency plan made around the fact it was always a chance the Cows were going back to NQ from Sydney in week 2?

I agree with the second part, it's not particularly newsworthy - just get it done. Whatever the cost.

No excuse for a comp game. Finals though, likely the flight was mostly sold before we even had the 8 locked in
