Pretty entertaining half. Don't like our new tactic of not kicking, but still a bit to like.

So as someone who doesnt watch Super League. Are 4+ second play the balls normal?

I always thought it was supposed to be a much faster free flowing game hence our fringe first graders being super stars in Super League

Surely only because of short in goals. But you'd think they'd back Cleary's kicking game and failing that, their defence deep in Wigan territory. Maybe Ivan had a hard time with the short in goals back in the day and it triggers him like Nam flashbacks.

Yes. Nowhere near the amount of wrestle in Super League. I always describe the difference as NRL is defence focused while Super League is attack focused.

To clarify, Wigan aren't used to the wrestle, although they are probably the most likely team to use it, but not as proficient as pretty much any NRL team.

The chance of a 7 tackle set is too high in those short goal areas. Plus a line drop out is a small reward now.

I think a handover on the line is definitely the safest play.

Penrith are doing the exact same thing as last year. It's as though there brains go to mush. The 5th tackle options, constantly going inside instead of spinning it, penalties, mistakes. Dylan Edwards not doing his usual support play is killing them. They dominate meters still but that's it. Its an embarrassment to Australia. If this was against any NRL team they'd be down by a lot more.

I definitely noticed that to.

That was the slowest ruck speed I've seen since the "wrestle" era of the NRL.

Watching that through the lens of us trying to sell our game to overseas markets, is this really hitting the mark?
