I took these stats from an article by Fox Sports, but it really is an indictment of Slater's coaching and interchange tactics for this match when you consider he only had 2 specialist forwards on his interchange bench.

- Felise Kaufusi; Only played the first 15 minutes of the game;

- Lindsay Collins: Only played 32 minutes of the game; and

- Played Ruben Cotter on an edge rather than in the middle.

That is just completely crazy in this day and age to not properly use your forwards when you intentionally go in with less than in previous years due to team selections. Yet Slater wants to blame the referee for the loss? Sorry Billy, go look in the mirror.

I have never really noticed it in his game until this Origin series. He is actually a very grubby player.
That’s because he’s not grubby usually but certainly was during this series
To be honest, I wish he’d play with a bit more of that mongrel in him when playing for Manly….
Although I think it just threw him off his game actually, probably better off he doesn’t act like such a raw prawn.

it's a bit similar to Laurie Daley and Ricky Stuart. Phil Gould has said when he was coaching first grade, he'd tell his players that it was ok to sledge Ricky Stuart as it would often throw him off his game. However he'd also tell them under no circumstances to sledge Laurie Daley as it would just fire Daley up and he'd lift. I suspect DCE is more in the Stuart mould in that regard.

Among his many blunders, one of Klown's worst was not binning DCE for provoking the whole melee that spilled off the field. I reckon Klown thought he can't bin the guy he needs to keep yapping at. DCE was at it all game with his grubby tactic of pushing his palm into other players faces, obviously he thinks as long as it's not a slap he will get away with it. Anyway, suck shit giraffe boy.

I think the worst most blatant one was the holding down NSW legs 10 meters out from QLDs try line and Klein just blows time off and lets them get set instead of a penalty or bin

Edwards was really good in both games. I was worried that he wouldn’t be able to step up to Rep level but was proven wrong.

Need to stick with the majority of the squad for next year. They’ve earned it.

Not long after that, DCE was complaining when Klein ruled (iirc) Dearden had not caught the ball on the full in his own in-goal from a NSW kick, so it was a goal line drop out rather than a 20 m re-start. That was because the player, had jumped from the field of play, caught the ball in the air, and then landed in the in-goal. You could see him blowing up at Klein in the background, when very replay showed Klein was 100% correct.

Latrell for Best and someone for Jake is all really.
Nathan is the world's best player and will get back in.

Luai and Moses stood up when it mattered. They deserve the first shot next year.

Cleary was 7 when NSW won 2 games in QLD in 2021.

NSW didn't stuff up selections like they did in 2022 and last year, That was the main difference this year from prior years.

Few little comments from last few pages because I can’t be arsed quoting multiple people.
- lol at Roosters fans talking up Watson like he was the difference, comparing him to Wing? Go f**k yourselves fellas.
- lol at Roosters fans talking up Walker, like f**k he’ll be there. It’ll be Munster and DCE with Dearden or Hunt on bench or if DCE chooses it’ll be Munster and Dearden keeping the same Hunt/Grant rotation.
- lol at Roosters fans still carrying on about Edwards.
- Eat a bag of dicks QLD
- Murray should’ve been sent
- lol at Roosters fans
