And what I'm saying is the difference between a sin bin and a send off in a situation where the defender is blatantly reckless is head contact. Especially forceful head contact, with a shoulder, and no arms. It doesn't matter if the defender slips. The defender is reckless. Suaalii sure as shit was.
Agree to disagree then. You can't say there is forceful, intentional head contact if the defensive action was made prior to an attacker slipping into it. It makes zero sense. The high contact has to be punished, sure but not without consideration of the contributing factors. No slip, no high shot and thus, no malice.

Mariner's been ok surely?

Although he does look like a seedy high school janitor from a college comedy that would be unreleasable in 2024
He loves jesus a bit too much and needs a stint in Israel to learn how to diffuse a bomb ffs

Nice win. The Broncos should be embarrassed given our three quarter line tonight and 12 men for 20 mins.

Nice to see them playing as a team again.

Sure but no one here has said it was deliberate, or that it needs to be for it to be a send off? Look at it this way. If he hadn't hit Walsh in the head, it was still a late, forceful shoulder charge. That's generally a sin bin, yes? So it's already an illegal tackle.

Of course you can say it was forceful. Force has zero to do with intent and he clearly hit him hard and flush.

It was reckless. Reckless doesn't mean deliberate. You want to consider the contributing factor of the slip but not the contribution the level of recklessness made to the end result, and it just doesn't work that way tbh.
