I'll be cheering for the Raiders. I'd rather a Canberra victory to make the top 8 battle interesting.

Sadly I think the Cows will win. They hold a precarious spot in the 8. They also have a golden ticket for the finals available if they win (They have a bye remaining which puts them on 32 points with a positive differential). If paintman can't get them up for this one then questions should be asked.

The Chad has been dropped.

We might actually have some semi decent last tackle kicking now with Clifford in.

Uncle Nick to suddenly start sinking long range putts next year .

How we are in the 8 with Chad at 7 is like some altered reality .
Only took Toddy all yr to work out he was one of our major problems but wouldn’t surprise me if he’s back next week especially if Clifford has a great game .
He’s done it before .

If Chad's back next week and Jake has a blinder this week then surely Todd has some explaining to do.

The Cows are pretty much untippable at the moment. You just don't know what you're going to get.
Actually, you do. You're going to get insipid defence from 10 out of 13 on the ground. And it varies who are the 3 good ones with probably 2 exceptions.
Last week was disgraceful. And the defence has been shocking for 2 years, given how good they were defensively in 2022.

They need some time in the sandpit with Michael Pobjie for tackling practice .Warren Ryan to oversee proceedings .

Is Jaxon Purdue injured ? He looks like an absolute gun. Hope the Cows can keep him after losing the Hammer and Ponga . Bump this thread when he plays SOO for Queensland .

They just mentally clock off I reckon.

It's close to the same side as 2022, and they could defend. There has been glimpses of it this year.

I don't think Purdue is injured, but he sure didn't get much game time last week. He'll definitely be a good player, but probably might need to wait for a spot. There's plenty of good players in the positions he's likely to be best suited to.

He's only young, his time will come and he is surely one they'd want to keep for a while at least.
