Except that's not what he said. His exact quotes are below. You will note the first sentence directly contradicts your claim.

“He hit him in the jaw... but it was open-handed, it was lower than shoulder height,” he said.

“If that’s the standard that’s fine, but that’s a new one for me. I feel like that’s lower than what’s been sent off before. It just feels like we can set a new standard here again.

“We’ve had guys not even go for 10 for less. I feel like that was a bit over the top. There’ll be a lot more send offs in our game, there should be, if that’s the case.”

He goes on to say he believes a binning was justified.
It's the standard he set with his whinging.

I didn't say I agree with him, just putting what he actually said out there as opposed to what you lot claim he said.
It's a stupid argument. Taaffe is a foot shorter than him - of course Young's arm was below his shoulder.

He came flying in and hit him flush in the jaw and knocked him out. Send off every day and very lucky it was only 2 weeks.

It was around this time last year Walker was dropped and Roosters made some changes. Can see the same thing happening with some player movement

From Robbo's comments he did not think it was a send off. So I now presume he will argue with the powers at the Roosters that they should contest the charge as it wasn't worthy of a send off let alone 3 weeks.

Funny that when Walker went off Keary started playing a more natural game and directing the team around.
Even though Tedesco was a big loss the backline didn't seem as clunky when he left the field.

Even though the Roosters didn't deserve to win after that horrendous first half they were fully on top in the second half and looked they had the upper hand and possibly winning till Brandon Smith threw that stupid forward pass that gifted Canterbury the ball and they scored straight after to go up 30 -20.

The Roosters are a better team without Teddy and Walker.

Teddy is not as good as Manu who terrifies defences every touch since they know he can break any tackle. Teddy is no longer the dude he was in 2018.

Teddy is playing well but is more Gutho tier now in his ability to scare defences.

Walker still thinks he's playing in the under thirteens and wants to score every set. He has no concept of the grind and hasn't improved since 2021.

It also forced Manu to step up and take control which is what he did last year too with Walker off the field .

That Brandon Smith pass was one of the most brain dead plays i've seen, especially given the timing. Simply unacceptable for a hooker to be dishing that out.

I agree that Teddy is no longer the model that he was in 2018-19 but still is a very good fullback and yes your comparison to Gutho is pretty much on the money.

Manu looked very dangerous roving around at fullback but unfortunately with our centre stocks being very weak especially with Billy Smith missing more games than he plays we need Manu in the centres.

Anyone else think if Radley didn’t get sin binned the Roosters go on to win?

I reckon but i think the Brandon Smith forward pass really killed the Roosters momentum, it was 26-24 to the Dogs at the time but the Roosters had the upper hand till that incident and scored straight after it to go up 30-20, as Grapple said it, it was brain dead play especially with the timing.

I'm not sure correlation equals causation in this occasion. When those two players were on the field the errors and defence were atrocious never giving the side a chance. Those two players had little to do with that IMO

Silly argument

Players can and do get suspended for weeks after being binned which is what Robbo is arguing should have happened.

Robinson is a dead set hypocrite, how else is there to put it?

Tedesco got concussed against Parra all those years ago when he was quite obviously falling, here we are, shoes on the other foot and he's saying it should have been a sin bin at worst? This is literally the change he was pushing for.

You can't have your cake and eat it.

It wasn't great but it was a mistake, I thought he was good other than that. Get behind like that and you leave yourself open to these things being more costly.

I cite the decision to go short on the drop out end of first half as ultimately costing us the game. Dumb decision. Just kick long and get to half time. They are unlikely to score in 50 seconds with a long drop out.
