Roosters and Robbo might need a split. Roosters someone new to reinvigorate the joint and Robbo a change of scenery.

His ideas with the squad he has assembled just isn’t working. Too up and down. May for example one of the best forwards on field last week gets 65 mins, this week gets 20 mins. Ongoing trends that make no sense.

Egan Butcher tries hard but Wong is light years ahead of him with what he brings. No sign of Wong. Jennings is way too slow both in leg speed and play the ball speed with limited tackle busting ability to play week on week NRL footy.

Not enough plays bring their best backline player Manu into play. Keary doesn’t direct the side to a level required anymore, he is a run first half but his injuries have hampered him. JWH no impact anymore as a forward, he has gone a season too long.

Can't wait for Annesley conference next week where he highlights the 30+ f**kups that Klein made tonight.

Re: Jennings - what else should he do? Billy smith is injured so the choice is suallii centre and pauga wing or suallii wing and Jennings centre. Next week young is back so Jennings won't be there.

Tonight was a game where sam walker becomes useful. Unpredictable heads up plays to break the structure.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I think a side can certainly hear the same voice for too long and I think this is presently happening with Robbo.
When they play against tough opposition.....they have folded more often than not.
Their roster management has had a few fails recently. Keeping Teddy at all costs ahead of clearly a much better option in Manu. The Roosters losing sway with keeping a man like Manu. That halves pairing they currently have clearly has issues. Keary is good but is a serious head knock away from retiring. Walker just has not evolved to be the very good halfback the Roosters have groomed him for.

Time for the Roosters to have a new voice.

Im not having a go at you........but do you have any confidence in Sam Walker moving forward and becoming the guy the Roosters want him to be? Im having my doubts.

Not sure about "the guy" in terms of a Cleary type player but he can be a very good half. The Keary/walker combo is a big issue though. You really need a bigger body in one of your halves this day and age.

With the game in the balance and Roosters attacking in great field position, Tedesco kicking on the 3rd tackle was one of the biggest WTF moments i have ever seen.
