I’ll guess 3.6 million. What is a good figure for tonight? Seems like most anticipated origin in a while, but I guess you could say that about any origin game.

I'm going to predict record ratings for a game 3.What is a good figure for tonight? Seems like most anticipated origin in a while, but I guess you could say that about any origin game.
That’s fecking hugeNothing official - but Gus Gould has posted on twitter:
Helps that this was the first game in the series that was actually remotely close. I know we can’t have a decider every year but that’s huge and potentially having 4 games a year that can rate like a GF is a massive leg up for league compared to AFL.
Anyway seems that the massive league boom at the moment has somewhat affected SOO as well. Now to see if the growth keeps on going in future years.
Origin can go back to 4 million plus if it’s marketed right
if Fox got the streaming for example
NahToo many other things on now. No surprise that all the comparisons are from pre Netflix coming to Australia
Happy to be corrected if i'm misunderstanding, but for comparisons sake, if these figures are correct and the average:
Origin 3 2024 - 3.652 Mil
AFL 2022 GF - 3.06 Mil
AFL 2023 GF - 3.465 Mil
Origin 1 2024 - 3.436 Mil
Origin 2 2024 - 4.26 Mil
Say what you want, but we have 4x GF-esque ratings every year. Show us the money or die Channel 9.
Nah
if Gus is right we aren’t far off now
why wouldn’t more people watch it as the population keeps growing ?
AFL is going green, they are aiming for "Net Zero"Nrl cumulative men’s and women’s origin
15 million
nrl pre season and most season including all stars 5 million
nz 7 to 10 million
vs afl close to zero
