What is a good figure for tonight? Seems like most anticipated origin in a while, but I guess you could say that about any origin game.

Helps that this was the first game in the series that was actually remotely close. I know we can’t have a decider every year but that’s huge and potentially having 4 games a year that can rate like a GF is a massive leg up for league compared to AFL.

Anyway seems that the massive league boom at the moment has somewhat affected SOO as well. Now to see if the growth keeps on going in future years.

Origin 3 2024 - 3.652 Mil

AFL 2022 GF - 3.06 Mil
AFL 2023 GF - 3.465 Mil

Origin 1 2024 - 3.436 Mil
Origin 2 2024 - 3.26 Mil

Reach figures show an extra 100k watching.

That shows less people dropped off as opposed to a slab of extra fans.
