It will depend on who supplies the broadcast equipment I'd suspect. Channel 9 sent virtually no one to Vegas, whilst Fox Sports did, so all the equipment for the vision for the broadcast would have come from Fox. Consequently, I suspect any Foxtel games produced solely by Fox will be, whilst where they take the vision feed from Nine probably won't as Nine do not broadcast in 4k atm.
I was thinking that might have something to do with it.
Really is quite pathetic how un-invested ch9 are in their promotion and coverage of the game, all afl games on fox are 4k including the ch 7 matches.

So if I'm reading correctly, we got:
Manly v Rabbitohs - 838k - highest ever rating game on Fox (is this for any sport?)
Roosters v Broncos - 1.57/1.582 mill (is this the highest rating H&A game for any code?)
Broncos v Dolphins had 1.441 mill last year as the record?

I think if it was a record fox audience it would say so. instead of just foxleague - it is however than the 780+ the AFL got during the finals last year for both prelims.

Highest rating H&A game i know of is the 1.617m that watched Collingwood/Richmond in the 2020 AFL season, but it was the first game back from COVID and still in lockdown. Kayo ratings are not included in this figure.

I haven’t seen many when I have been over there. I know of Fort Lauderdale. I think the New York one is a temporary one.

You’re right though. Fumbleball would only be able to do it if cricket got a decent foothold in the States
Yep and that’s crickets goal. Way to go though

As a bloke who likes cricket I’m a little torn. Whilst I would like cricket to gain some popularity in North America I worry about the fumblers taking advantage.

In saying that though even if they tried I don’t think it would translate as well. It’s absolute mess of a game with very little skill. It’s also obviously not as athletic.

Outside of Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, every other cricket ground in the USA (that exists or is being built) is 20K or less in size.

Even the Nassau ground is only a temporary stadium, with the grandstands to be repurposed after the T20 World Cup & is on the wrong side of the country for broadcasting back to Australia (same with the 20K Central Broward Stadium)

The AFL won't be copying anytime soon.

So it’s Nauru then?
