I believe the 23k average is all AFL games average on ch 7, not swans. This was reported by Buzz in today's Telegraph.

Surely Swans games would average more than 23k ?

No they arent, thats average AFL ratings, not Swans ratings, or even Giants ratings. These are all matches shown in Sydney. Swans rate an average about double this,
