Perspective is they haven’t played a game since 2023 GF. No warm ups or trials to shake rust off, new combos, normal interchange and went straight into an arm wrestle contest.

2024 probably plays similar to the start of 2023, month or so to gel and any loss will be by 4 or less.

But most importantly is every single time Panthers suffer a loss like this… they win the comp.

Yet they still beat this supposedly awesome Penrith outfit.
Truth is, the NRL is perfectly set to Penriths style but the Super League is more eyes up and attacking.
pantherswould struggle in that comp.

There is slow play the balls, Not sure that suits anyone. You would need a side to train for that and give them 5-6 weeks and the NRL sides would dominate

Pretty gutted with another loss in this but what a sham of a match! Incompetent refereeing and shit outdated rules that we are not used to playing by.
Too many poor performers in our team though. I can see how we’ll miss Crichton and Leniu etc and it could be another slowish start to the NRL season after this disappointment.

I still have zero interest in the English Super League though. It doesn’t matter how many times we lose, I’d rather watch aerial ping pong or Yawnion than that shit.
But like the Guinness, you’re not bitter!

With all the rule changes in the nrl one would like brought back .If ref unsure he can go to video ref on a try without making a decision .Then is no proof of a try it is rules no try instead of inconclusive based on the ref making a guess

From the BBC

Wigan were penned back for almost the entire second half but defended ferociously and in their only attack Jai Field's dabber kick was picked up by Wardle. He seemed to have been held short of the line and guilty of a double movement, but referee Moore gave an on-field decision to allow the try and after a lengthy video review his call was upheld.

Who is dealing in copium? Lol your lack of self awareness keeps us entertained.
