What are the chances of 2 warm matches before the tests to blow out the cobwebs for Australia? With a squad of 25 players you could slip in 2 matches and then roll through three tests.

Would love to see something like
Aus v Bradford - Give Bulls abit of a payday
Aus v Wakefield - probably not many rep players for Wakey which would really weaken squad.

anyway

Or how about just have a warm up against France since we get so few internationals as it is

Probably too late for 2025. But in the future. ARLC should insist that instead of the Team missing Pacific Championships for a tour. It is a tri nations with France. Assuming third test becomes the final. It is only a combined two extra games against France.
2027 - Eng, FRA highest finishing Team at the World cup outside of Eng, FRA, NZ, Aus
2028 - NZ
2029 - Aus

At least it gives slightly more structure.
Long term plan would be to copy Asia Pacific with a promotion/relegation game.

Maybe if the French union didn’t ban rugby league their team would still be strong

Or making Les Catalans and Toulose pay for the travel and accomodation for all Travelling teams including refs whilst also ensuring they don’t get relegated or get promoted
French were strong in the 50s and beat the Kangaroos in 78

80s years on WWII is no longer a excuse

Damage caused by Vichy wiped out the game and from a position of taking over from Union declined

Those tours under puig alibert have been followed by 50 years of meh

Catalans performance in super league shows the potential of French league
