I think Everton will sellout within days of the tickets going on general sale 14th April.
Could well sell out before if all the bays have been released pre sale. There really isn't many seats left that are currently available. Was amazing to see it fill up over a few hours last night. Very good choice of venue, well done RFL (and we dont get to say that often!)

Yeh headingly is almost sold out now

Getting Everton sold out will then leave all the focus on London

Maybe that strategy of picking headingly wasn’t so stupid after all
I still think we would still be in the same position or not far off had the RFL gone with 32k bramall lane(Sheffield) but we are where we are.

maybe next time the RFL will go with the policy of playing both Australia and New Zealand at stadiums with a capacity of 30k+

This could be a reset for English rugby league

See cup final crowds go back up too

Maybe Australia can do int rl a favour and lose

Radio reports. It's not an Ashes tour
Cause Wales. Scotland. Ireland players
Not involved. Only England players ?
Vs England. Not Great Britain
Yes, but I’m not sure any player only eligible for W S and I would make a GB team. So I’m thinking no one will really miss out with it being England.
Happy to be corrected by any UK residents or followers.

Yeh Headingly was heavily criticised but could pay off if it drives fans to Wembley who miss out. anything over 60k at Wembley will be a huge win for the International game.
I work most Saturdays so wasn’t going to bother but I’ve been bitten by the bug and will probably put a days leave in for 25th October Wembley test as long as there are any tickets left 😏

New stadium, different city to visit and only big venue of the series based in the north for northern fans without travelling all the way down to London.

When’s the last time an international test match sold out 6 months ahead of the game? Probably never!

Bitter sweet news this for me as I think we could have sold out much bigger venues in Yorkshire like Elland rd, bramall lane, Huddersfield and hull.
I wasn’t a fan To start with but given we have two big venues I dont mind a proper old school rl stadium for game 3. If it’s a decider the atmosphere will be off the charts and may help us bring it home at long last.
Now that option is no longer available for fans hopefully more will go to wembley.

Honest question here mate but has an England RL international ever soldout in recent times?

maybe the 2013 world cup group games?

It’s marketing to get Everton sold then Wembley

Wembley could push 80 to 90k if this hype continues
Sure and I understand that but I find it hard to believe the game wouldn’t have sold the extra 5k-6k seats at hull and Huddersfield or the extra 10k+ at bramall lane.

i think once Everton is sold out they’ll be a big surge for tickets from fans in the north and a big marketing push to sell the remaining tickets to people in the London and south east region and basically anyone south of Sheffield!!

id be very surprised if Wembley didn’t get a 70k+ crowd which would be amazing and record breaking.

Just done a quick seat count and there’s less than 2000 seats left at Everton in the pre sale! Not sure if there’s sections they haven’t opened up in pre sale. If not then it’s pretty close to selling out.

Do you think the RFL will repeat this strategy going forward for the New Zealand test series and the next ashes series?

Tbf I don’t think anyone expected this level of sales! To sell out two games for test matches in pre sale is unprecedented. Amazing when one of them is a 53k stadium!
