Well done brissy. And they rewarded their fans with a much better performance. Shame the wahs haven’t taken this game to a place with greater capacity

Weird they’ve taken the ANZAC game they fought over for years to Christchurch in just the second year, not even to open the new stadium there.

ANZAC game should be the one they look at moving to Eden Park.

Whenever anyone ever wants to beat the Broncos crowd averages you may have the crown of best fans in the game. Until then bow down and thank us

Why do you just outright lie about shit?

A single standing ticket, unreserved in the shed is $29 plus fees for Dolphins v Knights on 21 June.

There's about 900 tickets (excluding accessible seats) remaining for Roosters vs Dragons on ANZAC Day.

I'm not actually convinced it will sell out at this rate. That would call into question the Roosters' pricing strategy (especially considering their poor run so far this year), and maybe the Dragons fanbase has not been awoken yet either. Sub-40k would be a disappointing result.

I know I’m jumping in after reading this thread for ages without posting, but I really believe ANZAC Day in Christchurch has the potential to become the biggest event on the NZ rugby league calendar.

With the new stadium set to open in April next year, a 30,000-seat venue named One NZ Stadium, imagine locking in ANZAC Day there as an annual tradition. It could become a true destination event, attracting fans from across the country. The naming alignment with the One NZ Warriors adds a nice touch of branding synergy too.

While the current agreement for games in Christchurch (2024–2026) doesn’t require them to fall on ANZAC Day, it’s clear the club sees this fixture as a prime opportunity to cement the Warriors' presence in the region.

With the new venue I agree.

It is weird it’s been taken there this year though.

Yeh fair enough, I could understand next year since the stadium opens in April but this year and going forward I don’t see it. Warriors didn’t really have an ‘event’ fixture, they agitated to get an Anzac game then second year give it to a secondary market of theirs in a smaller stadium.

Also Christchurch is a fair chance of being team 20 within 7-8 years so Warriors might have to move it then anyway.
