If they keep Manly in the line up, they should get special buses from the Northern Beaches direct to Moore Park, or just extend the B Line buses to Moore Park from the city. It would make going to New Allianz from the Northern Beaches more accessible on match day
There is a light rail stop at Wynyard that takes you from the B-Line stop to the SFS

Didn’t help that yesterday’s 2pm was up against a swans game. That might have taken a few off whether they went to the afl or couldn’t be arsed due to the amount of foot traffic at Moore park. I reckon tigers need to play a bigger Sydney opponent like maybe dragons for this game.

Whats going with Cowboy fans ?
Seasons over, Townsville is the smallest city in the comp vs Newcastle which aren't supported outside of Newcastle for which thier Season is also over.
There couldn't be any less of a point to the fixture.
I'm surprised that both clubs ran out thier best 17. I'd be blooding young players and getting the stars in for early minor surgeries.

For once Joey's monotone boring commentary was fitting for the occasion.

Corporate packages have basically sold out to Broncos vs Storm in the last round - only about 20 or so seats left.

Remaining restricted view on sale, so with that + one game memberships (which might sell out on their own), there is probably only 300 seats left. Impressive.

No disrespect to Cronulla, I have no issues with the club and I believe that your fans deserve a better stadium, regardless of how nostalgic it is in its current state. However, in saying that I would prefer that we finish 5th or 6th so that we can avoid the circus that will come from you hosting a home final at the objectively awful Shark Park. An immediate 50-52k is a much better spectacle than 12k.

Except these coaches are fighting for their futures. So the future of the club can be put on hold for potential wins now, even if that means that busted player who should be parked till next season, is named, cause it's all about the coach now. It's all very shortsighted when the coach is hanging by a thread.

I really don't see how this mini magic round at Allianz has any appeal outside of the teams playing and has any appeal outside of what the games would draw as stand alone events.

I guess the stadium draws a few extra but the whole concept seems pointless.

I’m not going to argue with that. If you want to win a grand final you are better off playing the big games in the big venues with larger crowds. Our ground does not deserve a final.

Creating events for our game to celebrate aren't pointless.. it'll bring fans, Media and attention.
The more the better.

We`ve got one of the most beautiful cities in the world and just like V`landys is leveraging that with the Everest he will do the same with Rugby League.
I mean what could be better, two or three days in the Harbour city capped off with a game of Rugby League in the evening at as world-class stadium at a reasonable price.
