Why does any Sydney club ever pull less than 10k to a game despite decades and decades in the comp to build a following?

Western side of the ground is selling strong for Bulldogs v Knights game, but still a lot of seats left on the eastern side and in the GA sections. Not sure if it will get as high as some of the predictions, but it's in a good spot for 20K+.

Eels v Dragons looks like it's selling similar to the Eels v Wests Tigers game on Ticketek. Titans v Dolphins looks like it's selling similar to Titans v Knights. Maybe I'm missing something & @APPSY can confirm, but to me it's looking like another 14K crowd.

More pushing towards 16k. We've opened section 29 earlier than expected, and Section 14 seems to have sold all available seats (pending more to be released, I presume).

Don't know why a team in the bottom four consistently thinks they can charge $70-$100 for sideline seats; I am hoping that there's more movement in the week now that the weather forecast has changed from rain to sunny for Saturday in Robina, and that there's walk ups. I believe we also sold a fair amount of QLD Derby memberships (Phins, Cows & Broncos games) so should see people getting good use out of that attend. I for one, am hoping for something bigger than last years abysmal 13k effort. Hoping that our decent start (yes, 2-1 is a decent start for us) can encourage members to show up. Not a whole lot showed up for the Knights game.

Appreciate the insights as always @APPSY. Honestly, outside of the first 20 minutes against the Bulldogs, the Titans have shown some really promising signs. The side is finally showing signs that it is a Hasler coached team so there is definitely legitimate reasons for the fans to be a bit more confident.

It's still early days, so we don't need to hit any panic buttons just yet. We haven't had Easter yet (Round 4 last year) whilst the likes the Broncos, Knights & Bulldogs have only played one home game so far (with the Bulldogs match being at Belmore).

If the Roosters, Dolphins, Cowboys & Eels could start a winning streak, that would definitely help, as each of those clubs can average 20K+.

The crowds this year have been very good considering the match ups. We've had a tonne of low drawing games such as Manly V Cowboys & Raiders, Roosters V Titans, Dragons v Storm as well as Souths Dolphins relocated because of the weather.

As yakstorm said the bigger drawing clubs have only had 1 home game. The next month or so should see us get a lot of momentum with big crowds.

I still think we will fall slightly short of last years record, but considering the circumstances with Penrith (their crowds will be halved this year) it's still a pretty good achievement.

Broncos vs Tigers appears pretty close to sold out however it is not. The black highlighted areas in the map below are sold, the red shaded are yet to be released, and yellow are up for sale now.

The whole stadium should be released. Broncos reps were going so well!

Probably sitting at about 39-41k. Not sure how many flexi members will relinquish seats but presume that this game won't be popular for them.

I have to hold my hands up and admit that I used to constantly bag manly for their crowds and their stadium but hats off to them for turning things around on both accounts.

Level 4 for the God Friday game at Accor has now been opened, when it's opened the crowd is roughly 30,000... we are over 2 weeks out from the game.

From memory, Level 4 for the Bulldogs' last home game on Good Friday (2023) only opened in the same week as the game. Entering that game, the Bulldogs were 13th on the ladder (3 wins, 3 losses) and the Rabbitohs were tenth (3 wins, 3 losses). With some inclement weather, that game drew a crowd of 35,211.

Fast forward to 2025 and Level 4 is on sale more than 2 weeks in advance of the game. We have a situation where the Bulldogs are top of the ladder (4 wins, 0 losses) and the Rabbitohs are seventh (3 wins, 1 loss). It's safe to say the crowd looks like it will be the first 40,000+ crowd on Good Friday in ten years, but this weekend's results (particularly for the Bulldogs) will go a long way to determining what a possible ceiling really is.

There's a possibility that the Bulldogs going 1-0 (and remaining top of the table) and the Rabbitohs going 2-0 (and getting into the top 4), COMBINED with a mint day weatherwise, could generate a record regular season rugby league crowd (the high water mark is currently 59,708 at Accor for the minor premiership battle between the Roosters and South Sydney in 2013).

The most hilarious part of level 4 being for sale is that it's cheaper than the Ultimate seats ($89 for level 4 on pretty much half way, $149 for Ultimate seats in aisle 230)

I know this sounds weird but I'm really looking forward to going to the Gabba games as a novelty. It would be nice to see a proper QLD footy team play their instead of just the Melbourne Lions. Plus the fact that I live a block away helps ;P If it's anything like the SCG the novelty will wear...
