Obviously it’s not the biggest crowd of the round but for me tigers v eels is the crowd of the round considering the league position of both teams beforehand.

Bulldogs set a regular season record they get crowd of the round easily. Tigers crowd was alright but it was the lowest crowd the Easter Monday fixture has drawn yet by a couple thousand.

Is there anything happening with Brookie, ppl say Manly are a small club, but they're not. I grew up when Parra and Manly were doing good, there are Manly fans everywhere. They're like German cockroaches, no matter where you go, you find one. Back in the day, Manly fans had no prob going across the bridge, it's a myth. The only small clubs in Sydney are Cronulla and Penrith with Penrith on a massive upward drive in an area booming in population. In a decade they'll also be a big club if they don't stuff it up. Which again leaves us with Cronulla..... Should they be forced to play all their host NSW games at the SFS and play interstate at Cronulla or just move perm there?

I can't see them growing for the life of me, sorry.

Kills 3 birds with 1 stone, merg West Tigers with Cronulla and ship them off to South Australia. They can become relevant and the South Aus Tiger Sharkies.

No question that the Bulldogs crowd was amazing and crowd of the round.
What is exciting is that a game like today at CommBank still gets 26 000, with two pretty shite teams. My team is one of them.
The quality of today's game and the atmosphere for those that were there will no doubt keep people returning.
We are building an attendance culture. The last 2 seasons is proving that.

Great to get the record. Got me thinking, what is our highest potential round? Would need to be early in the season to nullify form, plus the usual factors of weather and timeslot.

Something like:

Broncos v Cowboys - 50k
Bulldogs v Tigers - 60k
Storm v Sea-Eagles - 26k
Warriors v Sharks -26k
Roosters v Rabbitohs - 40k
Dolphins v Raiders - 30k
Eels v Panthers - 26k
Knights v Dragons - 26k

Titans Bye

Could swap a few but never perfect.

My team was garbage and we rightly got pumped but todays game had just about everything in it

if I wasn’t feeling so depressed right now I’d probably say it was the game of the round lol

Awesome, fantastic and well done etc on smashing the attendance record but it’s now in the past and part of history and as a sport on a upward trajectory we should be looking at the next opportunity of smashing the new record.

and also breaking the record of achieving the most 200k rounds in a season.

The Broncos are being arrogant with their ANZAC eve pricing.

$159+ fees a seat (yes, $159+ per person) to sit in level 7 east from the 20-50m line. Other than that, only a few more seats to sell that were held back for new members and then restricted view which should be listed soon.

Corporate sales look amazing. Once those overpriced seats are recategorised they will sellout and potentially draw 44-45k. If not, we're probably looking at 41-42k.
Down from Cairns and thought about a mate and I going, walking distance, saw the price and Yeah, Nah...

What if cronulla floated all the way to the western Australian coast?

perth/western sharks.

job done.
West Coast Sharks definitely works.
But if you understand current, it doesn't.

In all seriousness, the NRL needs to get a stadium policy in order that will disqualify Shark Park and have them move until it's fixed.
It's a black eye on the game and they seem to be under no pressure to sort it out.

I say it's time to put some pressure on the Sharks.

Definitely need to relocate the sharks to either Perth or Adelaide as their current stadium isn’t fit for purpose and upto NRL standards.

I think the other thing that gets overlooked is how much better the product is not at the ground. I was listening to the game on the radio heading from work today and it sounded incredible. It’s some regular season match between 2 struggling sides but i felt hyped and right into it.

Same thing with the dogs game, it turned what otherwise would have been a boring one sided affair into such an exciting watch because the crowd brought so much to the game.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that ratings are rising with crowds.
