Broncos return to form is helping move tickets for next Friday's game at Accor.

All reserved seating on the eastern side of the ground is either sold out or down to single seats, the Kennel has been sold out for a few days now and outside of 125 & 136, pretty much all reserve seating on the western side is gone.

I'd be surprised if this doesn't end up 30K+ based upon current pre-sales & with the weather predicted to be fine by Friday.

I thought the crowds were counted by the venue operator (in this case, ASM Global)

I think the venue gives a split figure to the Broncos. IE - XX,XXX per your seller codes (standard ticket sales, corporate sales, and Broncos members all have a different seller code), and X,XXX stadium members, and then the Broncos decide what to announce.

It's fairly broken down. Back in 2014 the Broncos used to announce sales and attendance at the stadium - they'd fully say "38,000 tickets sold, but the attendance is 34,000).

I've finally emailed the Broncos to see what they are doing with the counting:

Surely this Suncorp mini Magic Round becomes a yearly thing now? The 3pm/7:30pm double. Cant do it too often or the novelty will wear off but what a great way to boost each other’s crowds, especially with high drawing opponents

While 18k at the gong is great, I'd go as far as saying at least 1/3 of them were parra fans, maybe even closer to 50/50.
Nah. Parra fans showed up in numbers but it was at least a 67:33 split. The Western stand was nearly completely Dragons, Southern Stand mostly dragons. Hill was split but still more dragons. Northern stand had a huge Parra turnout, big away supporters section on the part that wrapped around

You’d imagine the storm would be at least 20k considering a win tomorrow would see them(storm) only 2 points off the 1st place in the league?

Pre-sales seem to be suggesting a 20K+ crowd. Northern GA is sold out, lower sideline bays are sold out or down to single seats and a decent chunk of the upper areas.

Definitely ahead of the Cowboys game, hopefully the Richmond game across the road doesn't impact member attendance.

Titans v Cowboys is showing sales movement as well, so may draw more than their standard 13K, although I wouldn't blame Gold Coast members if they decided to do something else with their Sunday afternoon.

Dragons fans turning up to boo Zac Lomax. Heavy Parra presence or not, Win Stadium is fun to be at near full capacity … they need to do something about the small screen though. You need a telescope to watch the replays if you’re sitting at the Northern end
