Canberra and titans stand outs for me other then the dogs

Titans weren’t too far behind cowboys and even the dolphins and people say they should be relocated

Raiders can push for 20k as long as this season isn’t just a one off fluke and they maintain a competitive side

Interesting that the NRL allowed the Broncos to arrange this. I guess this was our counter to Ricky requesting the game be on Sunday. He know’s that we are shit during the day, and a Sunday game rules out a lot of travellers.

Apparently we’ve got two planes flying in and out at $775 a pop. I’d do that if I were Brisbane based.

The hate for the titans has always been bullshit. Their crowds are decent for their form and definitely better than multiple Sydney clubs over the years.

The only thing holding back the raiders is their stadium. If next year you could suddenly have commbank or Aami park in Canberra in a good location their crowds would go up significantly.

Package should also include a spot of watching Reecey lap water from the toilet bowl

Tigers, Titans and Parra fan bases are screaming out for successful years. I’ve got no doubt these 3 clubs could easily attract 20k+ with finals seasons

Tigers obviously would be harder with the home ground set up but with the right games at Commbank/ANZ/Allianz I’m sure it’d work

Extraordinary growth.
Game days are becoming events and it is a great thing.
Just look at today.
There was absolutely no reason there should have been 23000 at the Eels game today.
Only one team had anything to play for, and that was Newcastle avoiding the spoon. There would have been lucky to have been 1500 Newcastle fans there today. Was probably even less than that.
Therefore, over 21000 Eels fans turned up to a game that had nothing riding on it.
I can guarantee that all the parents that took their kids to that game today will want to take them again. And the kids will want to go again.
We are building a future crowd culture. Not we as in Parra, but the NRL.
And it`s just great entertainment, you are almost guaranteed to see several acts of extraordinary athleticism at every match.

The biggest disappointment is Parra not making the finals, if they did they would out muscle every Sydney team when it comes to crowds

Well that's not true. You only just got 20K average when you made the grand final. The next year although you missed the finals, you dropped right down the list of crowd averages for all Sydney clubs, including clubs that also didn't make the finals.

But you can see the trend that all clubs, especially Sydney clubs averages are starting to really go throught the roof compared to pre covid crowds which is great for the game. Dragons and Sharks really need to work something out.

Need to find a way to get Brookie into the low 20s.

There is a post there with the staged masterplan for brookvale to turn it into an all seater of 20k.

Basically replicates the northern stand on all sides with the sidelines having a second tier. Considering the northern stand cost $30M, which included a CoE and pitch upgrades, you are probably looking at $200M atleast to finish brookie with how much building costs have increased recently.

Would be a fantastic 'boutique' stadium if it ever gets built though.

The screenshot if anyone is after it.

From a cost perspective, the cheapest way to increase the capacity at Brookvale would be to convert the hill to seating. Even if the seating only had the same elevation and depth as the Bob Fulton stand, it would convert the hill from it's roughly 5K capacity now to around 7K without any need for a second level / etc.

Arguably they could build a deeper stand if they wanted to, which might allow them to squeeze another 1,000 into there.

If money wasn't an issue, you'd be replacing the Jane Try / Fulton-Menzies / Ken Arthurson stands first. They are really inefficiently built, and the Fulton-Menzies stand in particular barely holds anyone.

3 years of growth have delivered 1.1 Million more patrons to the NRL in 2025 than in 2022. That's a 37.4% increase. This is where it happened. Anomalies include Warriors still being in covid exile for 2/3 of 2022, and Panthers house-sitting in 2025.

I was looking at the crowd averages for 2016-2019 and the growth since then is amazing. Especially for the majority of Sydney clubs who the better ones are much closer to being over 20K averages now, where they were closer to 15k only 6 years ago.

Categories 2 - 4 are down to single seats at GIO Stadium (including supporter bays), whilst standing room is down to limited availability. Maybe 2K tickets left max at the ground.

Still quite a lot of tickets left at Mt Smart, especially in the southern stand, which is about 70% unsold. Hoping its more a reflection of how many ticketed members the Warriors have than anything else.

Only Category 3 down to single seats at Shark Park. Hard to read sales into the hill, but I'd estimate between 7K-9K sold at the venue so far.
