Former Manly & Cowboys forward, Ben Condon, is arguably the most experienced player in the squad. Not being a smart arse, but where are the Rhino` players coming from, I`m not familiar with any South African heritage players in Oz.
So what's the run down for next Sundays games?
Pacific Championships Final Day:Where's the cookies v south africa being played?
We've beaten the record for highest average crowd for an international tournament. Was previously 26,401 for the 2004 Tri Nations. Currently at 34,949. Even if zero people show up to Commbank next week, the record still falls. So after 3 games, this year's Pacific Championship aggregate is 104,847.
Total aggregate last year (including the Final) was 101,292.
with the crowd of 52k in England and the PNG v Fiji game does that make the second weekend in a row of over 100k for crowds to international RL?38,914 attendance in NZ
Bro, sorry for thinking you are a vichy fan last month. Respect mate.Amazing crowd in Auckland today.
Seriously Can the kiwis muster more than 10k fans in New Zealand ?
I don’t remember but all good mateBro, sorry for thinking you are a vichy fan last month. Respect mate.

What about PNG vs Tonga?Pacific Championships Final Day:
Cook Islands v South Africa
Jillaroos v Kiwi Ferns
Kiwis v Samoa
We'll see what the Kiwi support looks like when they play Australia.Amazing crowd in Auckland today.

Spot on there mateWe'll see what the Kiwi support looks like when they play Australia.
I don't expect Kiwi support to come in big numbers until they're beating Australia regularly.
It's a little bit like when NSW used to beat QLD every game.. it only got big when it switched to " Origin"
Kiwi support could go mental if Australia v NZ becomes as even as QLD v NSW...

That's a bit inverted. Origin raised interest south of the Tweed even more than north of it. In Brisbane, the first encounter with NSW at Lang Park was still one of the biggest games of the year all through the 70s, avg crowd 24k.We'll see what the Kiwi support looks like when they play Australia.

5 in 18 years doesn't really blow anyone's skirts up.Kiwis have been competitive since 2008. They won the world cup in 2008. Also won the old tri nations/ four nations in 2005, 2010 and 2014. And only a couple of years ago, won the Pacific Cup final. So NZ have won five tournaments.
Certainly far more competitive than the Wallabies.
No P&R game this year as there is no Pacific Championships next year due to the World CupWhat about PNG vs Tonga?

Every time they look at going well, they disappoint.
They pumped Australia, next year don't make the final.. beaten by Tonga.. people need to know they're the real deal and that performance yesterday and the emotions.. maybe they are.
A 25% chance against Australia won't do it..
They will never be equal to Australia in rugby league. There is only one NRL club from NZ. It is lopsided, but also comes back to commercialization, viability.. Even now there's ongoing debate about a second NZ team. Can they afford it?
Winning five in 18 years is very commendable, especially where the national code in NZ is union.
it's such a a shame Allianz wasn't available for thisWell, I guess we can start our final Crowd Watch for 2025 - the Pacific Championship Final!
Looks like they have maybe put all seats on sale and unsurprisingly, should sell out easy.
Tonga has a population of 100k no teams and the national sport is Union. They will never be equal to Australia in rugby league. There is only one NRL club from NZ. Why did Sydney need it if they weren’t going to use Accorit's such a a shame Allianz wasn't available for this
