As you said, red & black is the Bears brand.. and with the Dolphins adding gold to their Qld Cup red & white, it opens up grey/silver for the Dragons.

The Steelers should've used Grey/Silver in the colours from the start or in the 90s as a secondary colour. Don't know why they never did use Grey and Silver as those two are the colours that are associated with Steel

It's the law. Only one team on any given day are allowed to wear an orange jersey. Today that was the Knights.

The punishment for attempting to break this law is that you have to sit through both orange-wearing teams' games and go for them.

Illawarra RL has been scarlet and white for over 100 years. Long before the Steelers came into the comp in 1982
