Sack your captain and 7 in DCE?

And I thought the cowardly kick off away from Spencer was QLD's lowest ebb. Somehow they've managed to sink lower.

The best result for QLD is they get pulverised 3-0. That way it doesn't paper over the cracks. QLD has become an abomination of a sporting state and a stain on sport in general here in Australia.

DCE is done so makes sense to drop him but also zero players in the QLD spine are going to be able to do anything while their forwards are being smashed, Dearden included. Smells of Slater panicking and making a change for the sake of it that’s not going to make a difference.

As a Blue you love to see it.

Not sure what else Horsburgh has to do to make the 17, short of play for Melbourne.

He’s a better player and in better form than Loiero and Fotuaika, to name just two.

Then you have Savage and Arthars being mentioned in game one as backline options, and instead they bring in Jack bloody Howarth, who’s just one game back from a long-term injury and hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire.

Slater’s inevitable sacking can’t come quickly enough. He’s a f**king joke and his well-known Canberra hatred is clearly affecting his ability to do his job.

Ezra Mam is such a joke. If they wanted halves cover, Jamal Fogarty is a much better choice - both in skill, in form, and as a person.

But again, Slater f**king hates Canberra. And the feeling is absolutely mutual.

It's better he's not a part of the upcoming massacre.
