The wife of Kodi Nikorima has slammed the NRL for prioritising the Dolphins season opening match against the Rabbitohs over the families of players in Brisbane, while Lions premiership player Lachie Neale said he would not have travelled if the AFL had relocated its game against Geelong.

It's tough on the Dolphins, but if they go onto win, they should get more value out of it. It's one thing to play an injury-ravaged South Sydney team at home, it's another to do it on the road while your loved ones are dealing with a natural disaster.

The worst thing they can do is lose and then blame the natural disaster and let it become a circus. They just have to roll with the punches and get on with it.

The others it’s a bit meh but don’t know individual circumstances

Dolphins have been really good offered for any of their players and families who want to stay at a hotel during the cyclone they can at their cost



That’s not so bad especially with oSullivan available he’s better than nikorima

A side containing settled halves and Farnworth and the Hammer out wide cannot be considered road kill by a side like Souths starting out missing their 2 biggest stars and a new half and hooker combo.

As a Souths fan, we're not the favourites to win in my view. I can't be confident but I am hopeful.
