Yep, best of luck to them all - but Smith, Doorey, Guymer and Tuivaiti isn't striking fear into anyone about what happens at the 20min mark.

I guess it means that Cartwright, Moretti and Greig are really off the pace of what Ryles is after in his forwards this season, to not be on the injured list and not even get named in the first 22.

A bench of Guymer,R.Smith and Tuivati is so much more exciting then old plodders. Yeah they'll make mistake but all are young with unknown abilities in NRL.
All 3 could sink but who knows we might be seing the debuts of some future stars of the game.

Brown in Flegg is a project player needs some more aggression in his runs but will be better than Sam T in my books , also the 2 second rowers in the ball team will be first grade players 11/Funa-Latu & 12/Petrus. You can also include Ryda in possible first graders.

The 12 yesterday was huge with his runs and defense against a fairly big Canberra outfit.

Yeah if he doesn't make it, that's why. But also any given talented youngster is unlikely to make it, which is why I never get excited about them. Carving up kids their own age (most of whom won't even play reserve grade) isn't a reliable indicator of NRL potential.
