Will be up there with round 2, 2023 when Klemmer ran for about 40m in the match then after the game doubled that to tell Hastings he’s a twat when he had a squabble with Talau.

Ahh yes

The game where Ponga went off after 3 mins, Brailey 10mins later, the Knights had a guy sent off, another sin binned and still never looked like losing.

By far the most interesting game of the round.

Take away the varying hype around each team and i think they are pretty much even.

But in saying that, I think the Knights might have the edge out wide.

We started the season with several new high profile recruits with two seemingly easier games at home allowing us a chance to get off to a good start and completely shit the bed

Not so confident about tonight now.

Righto, I need some expert analysis and there's no better place to find that than right here on LeagueUnlimited.

Should I captain Ponga in Supercoach?

Some great names on display here. Phoenix , Brodie , Fletcher , Tyson. They could easily be characters in Home & Away.

Alf Stewart: “Stone the flamin’ crows Irene .There’s been a fire at the surf club. I’ll bet my bottom dollar that Phoenix
and Brodie” are in it up to their flamin’ eyeballs!”

According to Green’s book of English slang, to “do a Brodie” is to perform a “ dangerous or foolhardy stunt”. An example could be “the Knights’ board did a Brodie by extending Adam O’Brien. In remote parts of Scotland however, Brodie can refer to a “dangerous lab experiment gone horribly wrong”

A battle between a 2nd year part time coach who already has a wooden spoon to his name against a coach who has been to the big dance on no less than four occasions(as an assistant). One who can coach from Bali against one who can get mates’ rates at Bradman’s air b n b in Bali(as long as his hamstring tear doesn’t become chronic). A team that can afford to leave Charlie Stains versus the Penrith “C” team.

Predictions : Brodie Jones to run over 100 metres from the bench.

Jack Bird to run under 40 metres from the bench

Adam Elliott to remain inactive.

Benji to be replaced by interim coach the Blue Wiggle .

The Knights to win by plenty

I think Tigers have too many new combinations, which will take some time - and missing Api - Knights will be too solid you'd expect. I can see them and Canberra fighting for the 8th spot this year.

ATS Marzhew, Doueihi, Sharpe yes please.

I made a glaring error in my last post. It meant to read “Jack Bird to run under 30 metres from the bench”

And just remember that Greg Marzhew is a weightlifter and apparently St George have a former beach sprint champion in their squad.

I don’t play SC but I’m assuming the question is also

‘will Ponga likely have a stack of line breaks, tries, try assists etc’

then the answer is yes

also I would strongly suggest not having either of our Centres in your side, unless missed tackles and try causes also give you points

This Year?

That left edge of the Knights looks pretty schmick. The speed of Sharpe to unlock Ponga, Best and Marzhew looks very promising.

This isn’t a bad tigers side at all. More experience at fullback and hooker would be ideal but I think they could ambush the knights

This is potentially the most interesting game this week. I'm really keen to see what difference Luai can make. It's a shame Api is out as he might feel a bit more pressured to do to much.
