This version of the roosters just has an incredibly soft underbelly, you can tell they absolutely hate the grind and when the going gets tough they implode. My theory is a lot of their players were stand out juniors, anointed from a very young age and looked after very well, they’re the rugby league equivalent of the rich kid who’s never had to hustle

It’s not surprising considering how f**king entitled the whole club acts. From the coach it’s always someone else’s fault.

That replay shows Tass took the pass behind where Latrell ended up, with his own momentum BTW. It wasn't forward

Latrell pass looked sick but was clearly forward for mine.

In any case the Roosters only have themselves to blame for blowing that one, the Bunnies looked shot with 20 mins left.
With my red and green glasses on, it was flat.

Taking those glasses off - it was flatish. Looked backwards out of the hands because his hands curved roundways around his body.

Flatish. Just put "ish" on the end and it works.

That's what the bunker does.

I don't think that's true. They have been in grinds 3 weeks in a row and seemed more than willing to be in it with for the most part very good goal line defence. They just don't have the attack to score points at the moment so the defence will always ultimately fail.

On this occasion it wasn't even something dumb that changed momentum. It was the ridiculous rule where the receiving team can't touch the ball before it goes 10. Like literally that ball bounces half a meter from the try line and souths benefit. The rule should either be a penalty if it doesn't go 10 on the fly or the receiving team can touch it whenever they wish. It turned momentum twice in that game.

And it's not one way, we got one as well towards the end off of a kick off. Absolutely ridiculous that souths get penalized for that.

This makes no difference whatsoever as to whether it was forward or not.

But it does. It was backwards out of the hands and drifted in front of the point it was thrown with momentum, which is not illegal. Otherwise like I said, literally every pass thrown on the run is illegal.

Loads of chooks forward passes weren’t called

That one was 50 50 at best

On the last try... I don't care if it was forward or not, sometimes they call them sometimes they don't.

At the end of the day there was no need for Young to be a couple metres in there, everyone was well covered inside him. Just stay on the winger and he is going absolutely nowhere. Maybe latrell doesn't throw it if he isn't in but either way the try doesn't happen in that manner if he stays on his man.

This is different to what you just said. You were talking about where Mitchell ends up in relation to Tass which is irrelevant.

Disagree about it being backwards out of the hands but we'll never have a 100% answer to that part.

Ok I agree that's not 100% confirmative if that was your point, and I misunderstood. But it's indicative.

If Latrell ends up in front of the point of receipt with his own momentum (i.e. not speeding up) then it's very difficult for that ball to be forward. Tbh he threw it on the ten, ended up 5 out, Tass took it 8 or 9 out. It wasn't forward.
