Dogs are a good side and we’re clearly the better team but it f**ks me why Atkins wanted to ruin it as a spectacle.
The NRL should filthy on him for turning viewers off.
The Bulldogs really do have the ref in their pocket at the moment. Good on them I guess. The more you win the 'luckier' you get with the officials.

Refs love the fairytale team, always have

Its why it kills me how we're always so shit, even just get slightly good and watch these pricks ride us home every week

I notice it all the time as a Cowboys fan. When we're playing bad the officials double down and we barely get a call go our way, particularly when we play in Sydney. But when we string a few together and the media start talking positively about us all of a sudden the calls begin to change. It has even happened this year to some degree.

I thought the studio panel being 3/4 Bulldogs was pretty cool. Ennis, Graham and Foran.

This “kick them when they’re down” attitude doesn’t make any sense. It just alienates the fan bases of the teams getting dudded. Look how many Tigers’ players were sin binned last year. The Api one was embarrassing from the view of a neutral. If anything they should be giving the “rub of the green” to the struggling clubs to keep their fans invested .

Lol, this guy. I make one comment about the Sharks saying they might not have performed as good as they think they did (they went on to lose their next 2), and this clown proceeds to follow me around the forum like a small child. I'm flattered, sweetheart, but I'm married.

Geez dragon Slayer has been very critical of the way the Sharks play but you got triggered because he said that Souths didn’t play that well…we can’t offer opinions now because we follow other teams..…

In fairness the referees are there to police the rules, not make it an even contest. A few years ago the Tigers got absolutely towelled up by the ref in a golden point loss to Souths. In the media briefing on Monday Annessleley admitted three crucial calls were all wrong against the Tigers. Paul Kent then wrote an extremely well worded article about sub conscious bias against so called 'shit teams' by the officials. Essentially it was saying that referees never go out to purposely be against a certain team however in 50/50 moments then 'good teams' will always get the call, this will happen even more so when the game is on the line or the 'shit team' is leading, as sub consciously the referee is programmed to believe the good team should win, the also know that there will be less blow back and less scrutiny if the 'good' team wins as its whats expected.
