Re Graham the main thing he'd bring outside of a cool head in defence would be return carries.

Souths aren't the worst but they ain't up with the best either on kick return metres.
Certainly. That was very stark last week especially. Johnston's rib was obviously not 100% and he's not a huge metre eater anyway while Tass went nowhere in a hurry. We have been missing the big stretch inordinately.

I was certainly only thinking about the advantage Stretch brings in attacking the line but Fangs is spot on the money that he'll be a huge asset bringing the ball out of our own half.

Stark in 2024 as well. They were second last for kick return metres. They haven't been doing it well for a long time.

Solid rule is that the better teams have a strong back three getting them out of their end. Starts with the return. Its not Latrell's strength and it doesn't need to be now Gray is at fullback. In fact Gray is in the top 10 players for kick return metres this year

This is a tough one to pick. You probably gotta go Dogs but you just know Bennett will have Souths ready to go. I like Walker and Latrell in the halves. They'll throw some unconventional things at the best D in the comp. Similar to how the Eels were always gunna pick up an unexpected win you know theres a random Dogs loss coming.

Will pick Canterbury by 4 but an upset wouldnt surprise

Other than playing the Sharks, the Bulldogs have had a really soft run. I feel their form, while defensively impressive, is over-inflated. I'd love to show them up, but with a massive crowd behind them, they will be too much for us.
