Sam Walker should be a major priority for the Dragons after Hunt retiring.
A goal kicker and a quality no 7 that will be the next no 7 for Queensland in years to come after Cherry Evans retiring .

Sam Walker is great on the front foot a bit like Hunt but can he game manage when his team is on the back foot or breaking even with the opposition? He doesn't have a big boot but excellent short kicking game, He's actually similar to Hunt in that sense. Little less of a running game & more creating for others but I could imagine Hunt doing the same if he was at the roosters.

Halangahu is 17 fmd.. that means he could do 2 more SG Balls? imagine the size and power by then, they will have to call the competition off due to safety concerns.

And yes Tonga has gone way past Fifita in his first few nsw cup games, it shows just how bad Fifitas motor is.. I cant believe hes gotten this far tbh.. hes 4yrs older than Tonga.

With spots tight in the Top 30, Club will have to make a choice on Fifita keep for 1 more year or move on, there is a player there, but something is holding him back whether fitness, commitment, injury, will be a tough call on retention committee.

Be nice to keep Latu, Tonga, Halangahu etc together to prime staying even longer if we want them to sign on further
these are the big 3 for me, and maybe like a Stanley-Traill or Meafou or who knows.. end up being superior.. but these seem the best chance for return on investment.. Tonga is already belonging in reserves, Latu is younger but his stats r growing every week in Flegg.. he is dominating and handling it easy.. and Halangahu is 17 and winning every award possible... with an aussie jersey coming.

Will not be easy though.. in 1 to 3yrs time when the Roosters or Storm come knocking and the kids arent getting the 1st grade time they want.. but again.. far rather this situation than the opposite! Tonga is the only one who is sort of close to getting a sneaky bench debut in 1st grade.. but with RyanC, MMolo or even BMM missing game time atm.. its not easy.. and im ignoring fifita in that queue....

MMolo I think is going to be a bit of a block next year..not sure how we will manage it.. hard if hes signed to Top30 and ignored.... of course its again a good problem to have.. compared to some injury crisis where we need to push them all up early.

Naa Ravalawa has to move on, all reports on here are that hes actively not doing whats required off the field.. not meeting the standards set for the group... and given we need to clear 2-3 spots to fit the bare minimum coverage in some other positions... there are really only 4 players imo that we want gone (rava, lawrie, fifita, bird) and Rava will be the easiest.. as I think someone will definitely be interested.. perhaps at full price.

Next years outside backs are:
Sloan, Allan, Matt Feagai, SFinau, CTui, Suli, Bird, Blaize (or equivalent quality) and it seems like he really wants Max Feagai also... Id still like another fullback option in there.. but im not sure we will find the room.

Ravalawa is rly quality depth for sure, but he will probably keep Max in his place, and id rather give Sione Finau a run if we need injury cover etc.
